It should come as no surprise that the units on the board will be moving about throughout the course of the game. They do so while strictly obeying the rules listed on the slide.

A coastal province is any land province that touches an ocean province. They can be occupied by either armies or fleets.

Note the very chess-like rule prohibiting two pieces from occupying the same space.
