As alluded to previously I don't have as much time to read as I'd like
to have. As a result I tend to reread books a lot. I suppose it's just
literary cowardess, but I can't stand to get half way through a book only
to decide that it's just an unsalvageable experience. Some of the books
below I've only read once (so far), but a few old favorites like The
Fountainhead have been read at least ten times. With The
Foutnainhead I'm to the point where I can just pick it up and start
anywhere without missing a reference.
I used to read a lot of sci-fi/fantasy, but decided not to include that
in this list. Some of it was just bubble-gum novels (ex: Dragonlance), but
I went through all of the Gibson, Tolkien, Heinlein, and a lot of the Asimov
too. Maybe someday I'll do a full subsection for all things fanciful.
