I'll write more later, but a few replies to Christian:

The leading questions were purely a matter of being
friendly. I had assumed, now incorrectly I see, that
all the players except perhaps Russia were in the Twin
Cities area. It had nothing to do with figuring out
who you were, the only player I could possibly have
guessed was Ry4an, and I knew he was Turkey from the
very beginning of the game (no collusion, just that
his writing style in this game was pretty much
identical to his speech and non-anon writings). So,
all in all, it mattered not at all though next time I
won't be making that assumption.

Second, I think my stab would have worked if A. France
had defended Brest in F05, and B. Russia had moved to
retake STP in S05, which I had requested him to do and
towards which I had offered my assistance. You would
have been down a unit with Spain to fall next season
and my fleet in the North Sea threatening Edinburg and
London. And, as you pointed out, you were planning on
stabbing me. I knew this because you wouldn't DMZ the
NTH, so I figured I would take you down a notch first.
:) It didn't work, we both had to reconcile to keep
Turkey from winning, and we did. Thanks for doing
that, it was smart.
