Thanksgiving is out for me too.  

I'd suggest that the end of the year is a difficult time to schedule events, 
given that there are three major holidays occurring over the course of just a 
few weeks.  Combined with Christmas shopping and travel plans, the 
probability of people cancelling seems high.

It may seem far away, but I think January would be a much better time to try 
schedule something.
