oh, indeed. we had an interesting game with 5 players, leaving germany,
austria, and italy neutral and in civil disorder. at the end, it looked
like britain (tom) was in the best position to win, with turkey (myself)
and russia (garret) preoccupied with beating on each other down south.
france (jeremy) went into civil disorder halfway through the game due
because he had to leave.

it's not that big a deal... we still had two people with diplomacy sets
who showed up. and more importantly we still had fun.
