I can make either of those days.  The 30th is more attractive to me
if only because it's farther away and more people are likely to have it
unscheduled. 

We usually pick whatever date the majority of those who speak up prefer.
As you can tell it's usually pretty quiet during the date picking phase
of the planning process (Tom, Jim, where are you?), so a vocal person
can pretty much set the date themself.

For now it looks like we're leaning towards the 30th of November, and
I'll likely reserve a room for that date unless someone speaks up
against it soon.
