The short answer is: he loses=2E My pitch is that it's an accelerated
game=2E In a normal 2-way, the players fight all the way to, say,
17-15-2, and then in the final few seasons it resolves into a solo
(one grabs 18), or a 2-way (17-17), or a 3-way=2E

Under the proposal, it would look like this: the players fight all
the way to, say, 14-12-8, and then in the final few seasons it
resolves into a solo (one grabs 15), or a 2-way (14-14-6), or a 3-way=2E

And I agree: everyone needs to understand going in=2E

If I recall correctly, we have been doing 10 minutes for diplomacy
and 5 minutes for order writing per turn=2E On the first turn we get a
little more time=2E And of course, we quit at 6pm=2E

They have pop and single-serving bags of chips available for sale for
$1=2E They ask that pop NOT be brought in, but bought from them=2E Food
is probably ok (you might want to call and confirm)=2E

>>I could
>>bring a cheese and sausage platter if it is all right=2E

This is the kind of behavior that wins games=2E A few caveats: table
space can be at a premium, though last time I think we had plenty of
room=2E You might want to keep the footprint small=2E And for the
germ-phobic, be aware we're hanging out in the middle of a "sea of
humanity," so sneeze-protection is advised=2E The short answer is: I
would certainly be grateful=2E
