As you can see from the automated welcome message you just got, I've set
up an email list for people in the Minnesota area interested in playing
diplomacy.  It is my intent to keep this as a very low-traffic list with
nothing more than game announcements on it.

Everyone should feel free to announce an upcoming event in this forum.
Feel free to give out the subscription information to anyone you think
might be interested.

Today, Saturday, April 27th we had a gathering that totaled 20
attendees, 14 of which of which played -- two full games.  I want to
thank everyone who attended the gathering for helping to spread the
Diplomacy bug to the many first time players in attendance.  

I also, want to apologize to anyone who tried to stop by and was unable
to due to incorrect directions.  The event announcement page had my
correct address, but the yahoo map link did not, and at least one person
was unable to find the gathering because of that.  Sorry for the
incovenience.
