My life isn't all computers and board games. Sometimes I have to leave my terminal so the tan on the back of my neck will match the one the CRT gave to my face. Fortunately, since Minnesota keeps me indoors for 3/5 of the year the other 2/5 I want to spend a lot of time outside.

When I'm outside, I'm usually trying to be as far away from a city as possible. I love cities, but they're indoor places. Only in a nice rural area can one really see the stars at night, hear actual quiet, and see the horizon. When you think about it, it's almost ironic that I mock the environmental movement and support the right to do what you want with your property as much as I do. Good thing I'm in computer science and not philosophy or I'd have to sit and think about that little contradiction.
